Brock Bassett
Funeral Director

A graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service with honors, Brock served as a youth minister for 13 years before entering into the funeral industry. Having been in the Funeral Industry since 2011, Brock views every encounter with his families as a time to minister to them during this difficult time in their lives and help the families to honor their loved ones. “I look forward to serving my families at Bluebonnet Hills!”

Martha has been a part of the Bluebonnet family for ten years. She enjoys helping people when they need it most.

Funeral Assistant

Warren Bradford
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Warren has been involved in the funeral industry for 38 years and licensed 24 years. He graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and enjoys the funeral industry by serving people and giving comfort and consolation. He is a pulpit minister at Cathedral of Faith Church in Dallas. Warren enjoys reading, cooking, relaxing, listening to jazz and blues, and his dog “Shugga”.

Administrative Assistant

Marsha has been an administrative assistant in the funeral home industry for more than 4 years. “I truly enjoy being part of an awesome and caring team here at Bluebonnet Hills.”

Tommy Compton
Funeral Assistant

Bluebonnet Hills has afforded me the best opportunity that I’ve ever had. Not only with the families that I have served, but also with the unique individuals I work with. Every day is like the first time when I was in an ambulance back in the early 70’s in a small East Texas town. Caring for people and making a difference is a passion I have. It is the only peace I know that is like serving God.

Melanie Cottle-Gregory
Licensed Funeral Arranger and Embalmer

Melanie has been in the funeral industry since 2011, graduating from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. She has found the opportunity through her work to help make a bad day a little better for the families. She is a Deacon at First Christian Church of Granbury and a teacher with the Christian Women’s Job Corps. She enjoys reading and playing Rock Band with her family.

Mary Cushman
Administrative Assistant

Mary has been a funeral home administrative assistant at Bluebonnet Hills for 21 years. She says, “Working in the funeral industry at Bluebonnet Hills is an enriching experience, and I am happy to be able to assist families in need.”

Gerald Dawson
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Gerald has been in the funeral industry for ten years, graduating from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He enjoys the funeral industry because he is able to help families in their greatest time of need. Gerald enjoys collecting hot wheels and bike riding.

Lin Domingo
Administrative Assistant

Lin has a bachelor's degree in Social Science from the University of Hawaii. She is elated to work for a company which treats families and their loved ones with the utmost honor and respect during bereavement.

Ashleigh Driggers
Provisional Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Ashleigh graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service with honors in November 2012.The combination of growing up in the funeral industry and the loss of her grandfather made her realize her true calling of becoming a funeral director. It has been her pleasure to help and serve our families in their time of need and it is her desire to continue on this path throughout her career.

Gabriel enjoys working in the funeral industry by having the chance to serve and help others in times of need….to learn and gain knowledge about the funeral service industry in order to make him the best that he can be in order to serve each family that he encounters. Outside of work he enjoys boxing, reading, and spending time with his family.

Amy has been in the funeral industry for 17 years and graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. She enjoys the funeral industry by being able to help people. Amy enjoys spending time camping and boating with her family and loves race cars.

Ann’s goal after graduating college was to serve God by helping people. Her life has truly been enhanced by the opportunity to provide her families with a professional and caring approach in helping with preplanning, cemetery property, and memorializing their loved ones. Ann says, “Every family is special and deserves personalized service”.

Kimberly is a native Texan and has lived in Colleyville since 1996 with her husband and two children. She is proud to be working at Bluebonnet Hills.

Constance has two years experience in this industry. She says, “My goal is to treat every family who calls or walks through the door exactly the way I want my own family to be treated if they were in that situation. I am a two-time cancer survivor, and I truly believe God spared me from death so I could give myself to this industry. For me, it’s an honor being a community outreach specialist."

Connie has over 15 years of experience in the funeral industry. She finds it extremely rewarding to know that she has helped many people on the worst day of their lives. “It is truly an honor for me to be there for them.”

Funeral Assistant

Gil is a retired Real Estate agent who also taught Real Estate classes for 17 years and is now a Funeral Assistant for Bluebonnet Hills. In Gil’s words, “I count it an honor to serve the families who need our services in their time of grief.”

Genaro Lechuga
Park Superintendent

Genaro has been in this industry for 26 years. He lost his son a few years ago, and many thought it would be too much for him to work where his son is entombed. His mindset is the opposite. He says, “I find my job to be even more rewarding now because it is important to me that the park is beautiful. I treat every location in this park as if my son is there.”

Dan is a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service with an associate of applied science degree. He feels a career in the funeral industry is a calling, not just a job. Dan chose to work in funeral service because of his interest and commitment to helping families connect, honor, and remember their loved ones during times of grief.

I have been in the sales and people business for 28 years, and I took the next step in October 2011 to join Stewart Enterprise and the staff at Bluebonnet Hills. I love helping families alleviate some of the grief involved with end of life necessities.

Dee McIntosh
Family Service Specialist

Dee McIntosh began working in the funeral business soon after the death of his father and mother-in-law. He saw how deaths, whether expected or unexpected, took an emotional toll on families and being a people-person, wanted to use those skills to help others through this inevitable time of their lives. Dee has a wife, three daughters, three granddaughters and has lived in the Colleyville area for over 25 years.

General Manager

Richard is the General Manager at Bluebonnet Hills with 35 years of operational/marketing experience. He is providing leadership, initiative, compassion, and devotion to provide service that will exceed your expectations.

Dean Owen
Community Service Specialist

Dean says he loves to help people with pre-planning. At Stewart, pre-planning consists of more than financial savings and emotional relief by guiding families to think about the family stories, generational values and the “life message” they want to leave as a legacy for future generations. Deans says, “this is a high calling.”

Kristy Prince
Receptionist

Kristy just moved back from Oklahoma where she served as a police dispatcher. “I enjoy working here at Bluebonnet...helping people in their time of need is what I love”.

Kristi Shults
Administrative Assistant

Kristi was raised in Dallas and lived in Texas before moving to Indianapolis, working in the funeral industry, finally coming back home to Dallas. She has 15+ years of experience in the funeral business in Family Service, sales, and administration. Her mother worked at Restland Dallas and passed the love of the industry down to her. Kristi is very proud to be part of such an awesome team at Bluebonnet Hills.

Tonya Tucker
Administrative Assistant

Tonya says, “I have been happily employed as a funeral home administrative assistant at Bluebonnet Hills for eight years. There are jobs that keep food, clothing, and a home for a person, and then there are jobs that are a ministry. My responsibilities at Bluebonnet Hills allows me to give back to God what He has so abundantly supplied to me. Each day is a new opportunity to touch someone’s life positively.”

Amanda Vanston
Funeral Arranger

Amanda says, “I graduated from mortuary school with honors in 2010 and began my apprenticeship at Bluebonnet Hills. After a year of very thorough training, I had the privilege of becoming a funeral arranger at Bluebonnet Hills. The funeral industry gives me the opportunity to provide a stable and comforting environment for those in crisis. It is difficult at times, but an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world.”

Deric Walker
Funeral Director and Embalmer

Deric has been in the funeral industry since 1986. He resided in Decatur, Illinois until relocating to North Texas. He enjoys the funeral industry because he is able to serve others and offer peace of mind in the most trying time of life.

Brenda Weiss
Pre-Planning Specialist

Brenda joined the company as part of the Family Service team at Laurel Land Fort Worth and then transferred to Bluebonnet Hills. She began her career in education teaching British literature at the University of Detroit and has been in sales and service for the last thirty- seven years. She is committed to spending time with her daughter and son-in-law and spoiling her two grandchildren, Jazmine Brenda and Jaden.

Manager of Community and Family Service

I enjoy being there for people when they need it the most. On top of that, educating the community on the value of pre-planning is something that I feel is very important so families do not need to make stressful decisions when death does occur. I am so thankful for my job and for every person that has been called to be in this industry.
